She has been working with projects of social innovation and culture for independent artists, public and private institutions in Brazil for more than 10 years. She is a researcher and an independent communicator of black and peripheral culture. Ítala graduated in Social Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from UNIFACS / LAUREATE. In 2015, she participated in the Ibero-American Laboratory of Citizen Innovation (#LABICBR) promoted by the Ibero-American General Secretariat, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, where she developed methodologies for marginalized communities in Rio de Janeiro. She is a member of SILO – Arte e Latitudes Rurais (https://silo.org.br), a national organization established in the rural area of Rio de Janeiro, which works to promote female protagonism and collaborative practices.
